Short CV SCORZIN: Art and media theorist, born 1965 in Vicenza (Italy), read European art history, English and American literature and history in Stuttgart and Heidelberg. 1992 Magister Artium (M.A.) and 1994 PhD (Dr. phil.) in art history at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in Heidelberg. 1995-2000 assistant professor for art history in the department of architecture at Darmstadt University of Technology. 2001 habilitation in history and theory of modern art in Darmstadt, afterwards standing-in for a chair in art history and visual culture studies at Siegen, Stuttgart and Frankfurt am Main. 2008 appointed professor of art history and visual culture studies at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Department of Design.
